This is a great piece! I was really amazed for many reasons. I built a 16v hybrid 2.2 and in trying to keep the build at a low budget I decided to use my stock 2.2 turbo II turbo off of my 89 Shelby. It worked for a VERY short time. I was in awe of the power I had. I talked to Chris and I was convened to step up and get the DDB Garrett and wow!!! In AWE AGAIN!!! Even from the large turbo upgrade I was impressed from the beginning. It spools so fast, and the upgrade in cfm that this flows made my car come alive and it did not add any turbo lag! In fact if anything it spools faster than the stock tII turbo. Another great part was that it was nearly a bolt on fit, and it only took some minor fabrication to use my stock TII waste gate can but of course with the 16v hybrid I was already using custom oil/water lines. I have no boost creep at all and all I can say is wow! This really was worth the extra money! Knowing what I do now I would have never installed my engine without this turbo.
